 The DEK engineering team designed two brand new engine families by taking the best known technology of the 1990s such as Honda�s gasoline engines and Yanmar�s diesel engines�and improving upon their base designs to make the engines even more durable and quieter.

 The durability improvements and noise reductions were the result of a multi-year effort that included: continuously running the engines until they failed;  identifying the weakest links;    identifying the sources of noise; and making incremental improvements to address each issue.  The end results are the smoothest, quietest, most durable engines, generators, and pumps in their respective classes.

 During this development process, DEK was able to patent several of the innovations, ensuring the new technology remains protected and providing DEK�s retail, wholesale, and OEM customers with exclusive marketplace advantages.
